PREP SCHOOL 101: 3 sessions to rock a 6-pack

obviously anyone that creates something like the fitbook is your typical type-a, mildly obsessive, totally organized personality.  yes, prepschoolimagethat’s me.  and while there are some downsides which i won’t bore you with, when it comes to dialing in on those BIG goals, planning ahead is crucial.  enter the king of all meal planning tools: the 6 pack bag.  this mighty meal-packer is a planner’s delight, giving you all the slots + spaces to pre-pack healthy meals and more.  um, not to mention the snazzy little mesh pocket which fitbook nestles nicely inside.  add a food scale to the mix and it’s quite the trifecta of tools for planning, prepping + packing for success.

i’m always lecturing on this subject which is why i’ve pulled together a little prep school 101:  a 3-session series to make meal planning + prep easy whether you’re a gym rat + nutrition know-it-all, or a fitness newbie that still doesn’t know how to spell quinoa (keen-wa).

    I have never seen a bag like this but know it will make things easier to pack than the bags I currently have. I love the little trays to keep nuts, dried fruits, and raisins separate for the snack times. Keeping my fingers crossed for the win.

    I’m a full time student and I work full time. I do a few charity events and marathons throughout the year. Having something like this could help me keep in track. In fact, I have been looking for this for awhile. It would save me time and space. I would love to have this product. If I do not win this, I’d love to buy it. Thank you. 🙂

    This is the year for me to get healthy and fit. I’ve just gotten the news that my cancer is in remission, and I’m so super excited to begin working out and eating healthy foods! This give-away would be perfect for me to start my healthy new life!

    How neat is this meal-packer! As a busy mom of 3 little ones ages 3, 1, and 1, I am always planning and packing snacks for them, but usually forget about myself. This would be a great way to keep the 4 of us organized (and I love being organized!)

    I entered for the bag. I think it would be PERFECT for me. I currently carry two lunch boxes. I go from gym, to class, to both jobs 4 days a week, gym and job one on sunday, and monday/tuesday are for rest and yoga. But it has EVERYTHING this college kid needs. And my fellow students would be jealous (I study Food Science and Human Nutrition at UMaine). I wonder how long it stays cold….

    I’ve been looking at these bags online over the last month. I’m a crazy clean eater & eat 6 meals a day myself. I write out my nutrition plan, shop, cook, measure & prep every Sunday that way I can pack & go when I’m on the way out the door. I would LOVE to win! All these cool goodies would make my life a lot simpler . 🙂

    My goal for 2013 is to be best role model I can be to my students…..I teach to various age groups — kids, tweens, teens, adults and seniors. I continuously encourage my students to live the best life they can live….and strongly encourage them to pack their food for the day….one of my main focuses …..kids ….start them to adapt this behavior early on and it becomes a way of life…..plus if kids are part of the decision making process (i.e. lunch – not just leaving it up to Mom or Dad but a part of the decision) the kids are more likely to eat what is packed PLUS the kids are learning to choose the correct food for the day…..I’m often asked (by all my participants) especially by tweens, teens – what I pack and what I USE to pack my food….this is often where the students say ”Oh….I don’t have anything like that..” this sick pack would be ideal. I could show them exactly how I pack my food for the day….plus parents can use it as well….I often present / host family fitness nights….Parents could easily learn ‘how to pack’ their food for the day….families adapting a healthy lifestyle!

    Hi Angela…..Fit Kids Challenge is a company I began over 13 years ago….inspiring kids (of all ages) to embrace the joy of movement, the power of choice (choosing the right nutrition and how nutrition affects their bodies), boosting confidence and self esteem, celebrate their successes — challenging the students to be the best that they can be —- I design the programs — teaching class formats to students, training teachers (in-service days) how to incorporate into their daily lesson plans, family fitness nights, present at education conferences ….reaching out as much as I can to share this gift with others….inspiring others to live healthy lifestyles.
